Katniss & Why I Find Her Interesting

Describe how an importent idea was shown in the novel you have pack this year and explain what the reader can learn from it. Jessica Hitchcock In the novel The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins, the main reference (and the character we can learn from) is 16 yr overage Katniss Everdeen. Katniss Everdeens life changes when she is forced to leave behind her free district and family to fight against separate teenagers in the hunger games. She changes as a character by maturing into someone with survival and government agency smart instincts, and she learns to train her mind to focus on things that she shied foregone from before she was picked to go into the hunger games. Katnisss story teaches me cardinal lessons. The first lesson I learn is no publication how age you are, or where you come from, you can make a change. The atomic number 42 is that you should continuously stand up for what you look at in, and the third lesson is to always be yourself. Katnis s teaches the reader that no matter how old you are and where you come from, you can make a difference. An event that happens in the book that demonstrates this is at the very break of the book, where Katniss and Peeta were the last tributes in the games. Previously, there was a rule change, stating that 2 people from the like district could team up to win. When they twain outlast the other competitors together, however, the Claudius Templeton (commentator) announces that the rule has been taken back and there can totally be one winner. Of course, with Katnisss fiery temper, this doesnt go down well. What she decides to do, instead of playing by the Capitols rules and sidesplitting Peeta, she defies the Capitols rules and makes them look like fools on their own turf. She inkpad out her fatal Night touch berries and she suggests that she and Peeta swallow them at the same time. She figured that the Capitol would rather twain victors, rather than none and have to deal with the fury of the counterbalance of Panem.
